Space Mission Gone Wrong By Caroline Stiles, Olivia Shuler, Brittany Marsh and Brooke Adams 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, … BLAST OFF! “Attention, Attention, astronauts Jeffery Psudem and Barry Berkmar, this is home base! Was your take off successful?” “Yes, the passengers are clasping the bars so tightly that they’re knuckles are turning white. It’s obvious they’ve never been in space before,” declared Jeffery as they entered space. “Well, we’re signing off now, I hope nothing detains your mission.” Josephine piped up and said, “I’ve been wondering what nebulas look like, I want to show the other government officials some pictures.” After a few seconds Barry and Jeffery agreed, even though they knew it would be dangerous and lead them off course from their expedition. Josephine smiled at her triumph. Jeffery said, “We might encounter some dangerous gases that would put us in jeopardy.” A little while later Jeffery confirmed that they had drifted into a gas cloud. Everything grew hectic. As Josephine Sparks and her fellow government official, Edmonton Harvey began to discuss how to vacate the ship if it started to function inaccurately. Barry exclaimed, “Since I am a veteran astronaut, my opinion is that we should all remain tranquil.”They all silently agreed that while they were aloft they would keep the peace. After two days of floating in the gas cloud, they noticed that it was beginning to dissolve. After another two days Jeffery said that the gas would not inhibit them anymore and every one was relieved. Then suddenly Edmonton blurted out, “Where’s Josephine?!?!” Barry answered, “The last time I saw her, she was accompanying me to the control room.” Everyone jumped up and ran to the control room. Josephine was lying dead on the floor. After that incident, everyone grew suspicious of each other. They had shed their peacefulness. “This was an invaluable space mission, and now one of our passengers is dead,” said Barry. “Jeffery has been at the bathroom for quite a while” said Edmonton. “Shall I go see what he is doing?” “Yes, go check on him.” replied Barry. After a few seconds Edmonton screamed at the top of his lungs. Barry came running to find Jeffery on the floor dead, also! Barry looked at him on the floor and coldly said, “This is definitely notbeneficial.” As you can see, the mission was notsuccessful. The purpose had been to educate government workers about the space program. Instead on of them was killed in a terrible brawl along with an astronaut. Since they were killed, a lot of money, time and not to mention astronaut attire was wasted. The two people that were left on the space ship came home safely, however they had to spend the rest of their lives in jail.

A little while later Jeffery confirmed that they had drifted into a gas cloud. Everything grew hectic. As Josephine Sparks and her fellow government official, Edmonton Harvey began to discuss how to vacate the ship if it started to function inaccurately. Barry exclaimed, “Since I am a veteran astronaut, my opinion is that we should all remain tranquil.” They all silently agreed that while they were aloft they would keep the peace.
